At ratiopharm, we are dedicated to adding value to pharmaceutical practice. With our Online Learning Centre, we present tools for improving your practice:

• accredited continuing education lessons to increase your familiarity with a wide variety of issues in pharmacy
• a group e-mail list to help you share knowledge with other pharmacists
• a resource center to connect you with a variety of programs and other resources to help you in your practice
• an e-mail newsletter including educational cases to keep you up-to-date in pharmacy practice
• a learning portfolio to help you keep track of your professional improvement goals and activities

Continuing Education Lessons
Each of ratiopharm's continuing education lessons has been written and reviewed by pharmacy professionals and is fully accredited by the Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy. The lessons are presented in easily readable and printable Acrobat PDF format. They focus on a variety of topics, including herbal medicine and pediatrics. Each lesson includes a test that can be completed online; you can also save a partially completed test and return to it, and you may take a test a second time if not successful the first time. On successful completion of the test, you will receive CE credits and can request a certificate to be e-mail to you.

Group E-mail List
ratiopharm's group e-mail list will allow you to communicate instantly with other pharmacists across Canada. The list may be subscribed to and unsubscribed from easily and immediately from this website.

Resource Centre
ratiopharm is proud to present a number of resources for professional improvement in pharmacy. These include programs offered through ratiopharm, association resources presented by pharmacist organizations and a list of useful websites.

E-mail Newsletter
ratiopharm's e-mail newsletter will bring you information and exercises to help your practice. Each newsletter will focus on an educational item or case that will take five to ten minutes to complete.

Learning Portfolio
The ratiopharm learning portfolio is a tool to help you manage your professional improvement activities. It enables you to plan and organize educational efforts and keep track of your continuing education lessons. You can create your own objectives and activities and track date started, status, time to complete, and completion date. It also allows you to generate and print out reports of your activities and objectives.

Premium Member Status
Some of these education tools require Premium Member status. Premium Member status is a means of maintaining a focused, professional milieu for continuing education for pharmacy professionals. It is offered by ratiopharm to qualified professionals.
